VISITOR NOTIFICATION: Cape Scott Provincial Park Access, includes San Josef Bay, the Cape Scott Trail, and the North Coast Trail; Summer 2018 scheduled road closures for bridge replacement on the San Josef Mainline
Upgrades and replacements of several bridges and crossing structures on the access road to the Cape Scott Parking lot (San Josef Main Forest Service Road) is planned for the summer of 2018. The road will be closed for bridge construction, with no access to or from the parking lot, during the following period:
Tuesday, Sept. 11 – Friday, Sept. 14, 2018
Please ensure your visit to Cape Scott considers these road closures. Thank you for your patience during these capital road upgrades.

This road closure will not effect access to Raft Cove, Palmerston Beach, or Grant Bay – find them all on the map below. Still plenty of west coast adventures to be had while these road closures are in place!
